be about to：正要
說到未來要做的事情，我們通常會想到 will 或 be going to，但是如果想強調「馬上就要做」，就可以用：be about to + 原形動詞。
例句：
I am about to leave the office.
我正要離開辦公室。
She is about to open the gift.
他正要打開禮物。
They are about to cross the street.
他們正要過馬路。
搭配過去式
be about to 也可以搭配過去式，在原本的計畫被打斷或捷足先登的時候，表示「原本正要⋯」的語境 ，是對話常用的句型。
例句：
I was about to call you when you texted me first.
我正要打給你時，你就先傳訊息來了。
He was about to pay the bill when his friend stopped him.
他正要結帳時，朋友阻止了他。
They were about to start the meeting when the power went out.
他們正要開會時，突然停電了。
